Samsung is expanding its Micro RGB TV lineup with a new model, which the company claims to be the world’s first 130-inch TV of its kind. Back in December, the company revealed 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, 100-inch, and 115-inch variants. At CES 2026, the flagship 130-inch model is making an appearance with a fresh design.
It looks stunning
The biggest draw of the new model, apart from its next-gen display architecture, is the minimalist design. Samsung refers to it as the Timeless Frame, a design language that was first introduced back in 2013. The key theme here is that instead of mounting the TV on a wall or stand, the TV is positioned within a massive frame.
The original concept put the TVs in a tilting frame. For the new 130-inch model, Samsung is embedding the entire unit within a boxy frame, though the angled view look is still available. “Inspired by the frame of a grand architectural window, the ultra-large screen appears to float within its borders, transforming the TV into an artistic centerpiece that shapes the room,” says the company.
Another notable design tweak is the speaker assembly. The original Timeless Frame TVs had some of the speakers built within the frame. On the upcoming 130-inch Micro RGB model, Samsung is retaining that formula for a minimalist look, and it’s pretty lovely to see in person.
What else?
Micro RGB panels are going to be the next big TV trend going into 2026, and every major brand in the space, including LG and TCL, is pushing it to their portfolio. Samsung’s 130-inch Micro RGB TV employs a new pixel-level display architecture that promises ultra-precise light control and improved color accuracy.
It also serves a bunch of other perks such as 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro, which are touted to continually improve brightness, motion smoothness, and overall clarity in real-time. Then there are the proprietary Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Color Booster Pro, and Micro RGB HDR Pro systems, as well, to further improve the color clarity and visual fidelity.
On the technical side of things, the new Micro RGB RTV promises 100% coverage of the BT.2020 wide color gamut. On the 130-inch model, Samsung is exclusively offering an anti-glare layer to minimize reflections, a feature that is also available on LG’s new Wallpaper TV. Pricing details are still under the wraps, but they should be announced closer to the market launch window.
