The next palm-friendly premium phone from OnePlus has been surfacing in teasers and leaks for weeks. But now, the company has finally revealed the launch date for its upcoming OnePlus 15T.

The device will debut later this month in China, arriving as the next compact powerhouse. In a recent teaser poster, OnePlus confirmed that the 15T’s launch event is set for March 24, 2026.

What’s all the buzz about?

For fans of smaller phones, this is a big moment. Compact Android flagships aren’t too common, and OnePlus seems to be ready to double down on the segment again. And the OnePlus 15T isn’t a “lite” flagship either. It is expected to sport a comfortable 6.32-inch screen, similar to the base Galaxy S26.

But the screen still supports a 165Hz refresh rate and slim, symmetrical bezels just like its larger sibling. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which puts performance in the flagship territory.

So where’s the catch?

A small phone typically had to deal with a smaller internal space, and the battery capacity was always the first sacrifice. However, the OnePlus 15T impresses with an absolutely bonkers 7,500mAh battery pack, which easily blows past anything Samsung or Apple has to offer.

Electronics, Mobile Phone, Phone, OnePlus, Compact Phone

It is even larger than the cell powering the OnePlus 15. While its predecessor skipped wireless charging, the 15T supports 50W wireless charging, along with blazing-fast 100W wired charging. The camera setup will still skip the ultra-wide-angle lens, but the telephoto shooter now supports a longer 3.5x optical zoom.

Pricing and finer details remain unclear at the moment. But given the upgraded specs like the larger battery, newer chip, and improved periscope telephoto lens, it is all but certain to get a price hike.
