Apple’s 20th anniversary iPhone has been the subject of leaks and renders for months, with rumors pointing to a radical redesign featuring an all-glass body and a curved display. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has now revealed that the device will come in two sizes.
Two sizes, one milestone
The anniversary edition iPhones, internally codenamed V73 and V74, will reportedly succeed this year’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max and launch in similar sizes. Both models are said to feature nearly edge-to-edge displays with curved glass that wraps around the sides.
The phones will run on Apple’s A21 chip, dubbed Naxos, built on a 2nm fabrication process. The second-generation foldable iPhone, codenamed V78, will share the same chip. Bloomberg reports Apple plans to refresh its foldable lineup every year, suggesting that more foldables are already in the pipeline.
A busy 2027 for Apple
Camera-equipped AirPods will reportedly round out Apple’s 2027 product lineup. The earbuds, codenamed B798, are said to be Apple’s first AI-focused wearable that will use the cameras to give Siri visual context, allowing users to ask questions about objects and their surroundings. The AirPods were originally slated for a 2026 release but slipped due to Apple’s struggles with AI software development.
All products are said to have reached advanced stages of development in recent months and will debut during the first full year under incoming CEO John Ternus, who takes over from Tim Cook on September 1. Bloomberg notes that the launch timeline for these products is not set in stone and could change.
