Can’t make it to Coachella? Fortunately, YouTube has you covered from your couch. Starting April 10 at 4pm PDT, YouTube will livestream both weekends of Coachella 2026 for free, and this year’s setup is the most ambitious one yet.

Seven stages will be streamed simultaneously, and the platform is also introducing a new vertical feed shot entirely on Pixel phones, adding a different way to experience the festival.

How YouTube is upgrading your Coachella 2026 experience

The biggest upgrade is 4K streaming, available for the first time across three stages – the main Coachella Stage, the Outdoor Theatre, and Sahara. If you’ve got a big screen at home, this is going to look very good.

The Quasar stage is getting a dedicated vertical livestream too, shot entirely on Google Pixel devices, making it a neat showcase for the phone’s camera capabilities alongside the music.

For those who genuinely cannot pick one stage to watch, Multiview feature lets you stream up to four stages at once on your TV, toggling between audio feeds as you go. Last year, over half of Coachella’s total livestream watchtime came from living rooms, so this feature makes a lot of sense.

A 24/7 “Coachella TV” channel also runs throughout the festival, mixing archival performances with 2026 highlights for a non-stop music experience.

What else you can do while streaming Coachella at home

The “Watch With” series returns for weekend two, pairing popular YouTube creators with artists for live reactions and commentary. Valkyrae joins for KATSEYE, while Daniel Wall covers Fujii Kaze.

There’s also a virtual merch store through YouTube Shopping, with exclusive drops from artists including BINI, Laufey, Ethel Cain, Foster the People, The xx, and Turnstile. You can browse and buy limited-edition festival merchandise by scanning the QR code on screen to shop.

A dedicated Coachella livestream app on Android and iOS, with Gemini-powered schedule planning, rounds out the package. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just looking for a free weekend of great music, this is about as good as the at-home festival experience gets.
