This unlocked Pixel 10 Pro Fold deal finally makes going foldable feel (somewhat) reasonable

If you’ve been fold-curious but not “nearly two grand” curious, this is the kind of drop that changes the math. Right now, you can grab the unlocked Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold with 256GB of storage for $1,399, which is $400 off its regular price. You’re still paying premium money, but now you’re getting a true flagship foldable with top-tier cameras and Google’s latest software tricks for a lot less than launch day.

What you’re getting

This is Google’s big-flex phone: a normal-sized smartphone on the outside and a small tablet on the inside. Folded, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold works like a regular premium phone, with a bright exterior display you can use one-handed. Open it up, and you get a large inner screen that’s built for multitasking, split-screen apps, reading, or watching video without squinting.

Inside, you’re getting Google’s latest silicon, a clean Android experience, and all the AI extras that make Pixels feel smart in actual day-to-day use: things like better call handling, smarter photo processing, and assistive features that help with transcription, translation, and organizing your life. The camera array is still very much in “Pixel Pro” territory, with excellent stills, strong low-light performance, and zoom that doesn’t immediately fall apart. With 256GB of storage, you’ve also got room for a lot of photos, apps, and offline media before you’ll need to start deleting things.

Why it’s worth it

Foldables have been stuck in a weird spot for years: undeniably cool, but priced high enough that only enthusiasts could really justify them. At $1,399, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold starts to feel less like a sci-fi toy and more like a realistic upgrade for someone who actually wants to live on a big screen all day. You’re still paying more than a normal phone, but not that much more when you factor in the extra display real estate and versatility.

You’re also getting it unlocked, which matters at this price. Instead of tying yourself to one carrier’s payment plan, you can shop around for better service or cheaper plans and take the phone with you. Compared to buying a cheaper slab phone and a tablet separately, this gives you both experiences in one device, while cutting down on the “lug yet another screen” problem when you travel or commute. If you already live inside Google’s ecosystem, it makes even more sense, since everything from Photos to Gmail to Assistant feels tuned for this hardware.

The bottom line

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will never be a budget buy, but at $1,399 instead of $1,799, it finally hits a price where you can make a real case for it as your main phone and tablet in one. You get an unlocked flagship foldable with a great camera, a huge inner display, and Google’s latest software smarts, all at a meaningful $400 discount. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to see what life is like on a folding Pixel, this is a very strong time to jump.
