Samsung’s next foldables have already been picked apart by a string of leaks over the last few months. Official-looking renders have shown off the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8 in their expected colors, and reports have detailed specifications and pricing for all three, with costs said to be rising in both the US and Europe. The one thing missing was a live photo of the actual devices, and that gap just got filled.

An early look at Samsung’s upcoming lineup

A photo making the rounds on Reddit claims to give us the earliest real-world glimpse at Samsung’s next-gen foldables, weeks ahead of the official reveal on July 22. The image, shared by u/GalaxyNote7Recalled, shows what appears to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 propped up on stands in a showroom-like display.

The OP says the image was captured at a Samsung retailer in South Korea, adding that an employee confirmed the device in the center was the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 before asking them not to take photos. It shows the Fold 8 in the cream colorway, along with what looks to be the Fold 8 Ultra and Flip 8 in black.

There’s little left for Samsung to uncover

At this point, the only major unknowns are what’s inside these phones and what they’ll cost, and even those have partially leaked already. The leaked renders and this latest photo have already covered design and colors, and none of the leaks so far have contradicted each other. While Samsung has yet to confirm anything, the rumors point to notable spec upgrades for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and a more modest refresh for the Galaxy Z Flip 8.

Pricing is one area where there’s still some uncertainty, with recent reports suggesting the entire lineup could get more expensive. Samsung will settle all of this at its July 22 Unpacked event, and given how thoroughly the design has leaked, pricing may end up being the only real surprise left on stage.
