This new wireless charger uses brand-new tech to keep your iPhone cool

Of all the new tech gadgets and accessories being unveiled or showed off at annual tech event CES 2026, one will keep your iPhone charged up and cooled down at the same time.

The ESR CryoBoost Foldable 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station is one of the big products sold by tech accessory brand ESR. It boasts brand-new technologies not offered by the competition, starting with market-leading cooling.

ESR’s patented CryoBoost technology with built-in fan cools your iPhone directly to prevent overheating while charging, ensuring sustained high-speed charging performance.

Combined with the expanded Qi2 25W standard which you’ll find on many of the best wireless powering docks offer, this charging station can boost the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro from empty to 60% in just half an hour.

Plus, its ultra-slim profile means it’s also supremely portable.

Three gadgets, one charger

As per the name, the 3-in-1 can be used to power three gadgets simultaneously: your iPhone as well as your Apple Watch and your AirPods; in fact it’s Made for Apple Watch certified. It uses MagSafe too, so you can easily snap your mobile to the panel.

You can use it to power up your accessories at 5W each, meaning the Apple Watch Series 10 will go from empty to 80% power in just half an hour.

The station is compatible with any model of Apple Watch and AirPods which support wireless charging, even the older makes, and can be used on Apple’s phones from the iPhone 12 and newer. The fastest speeds will be delivered on more modern Apple products though.

The Magnetic Charging Station also doubles as a stand for watching content hands-free, and the charger’s main pylon can be angled around 75 degrees to allow for various viewing angles.

The world’s first active cooling technology

What puts the ESR 3-in-1 above alternative wireless chargers is in the name: CryoBoost. This is, per ESR, the world’s first active phone cooling technology which was designed for wirelessly charging tech.

This means it can boost up your mobile’s battery without it overheating or losing efficiency, and unlike other solutions, it cools the phone directly rather than charger.

The CryoBoost technology uses a fully open-duct airflow combined with aerospace-grade aluminum to directly cool the phone’s main heat source for peak charging performance. In ESR’s tests, it cut heat by up to 10.8°F during the charging process.

The fan is also very thin, with ESR using a laptop-grade design to keep it to just 4mm. This ensures the charger itself is slender too, at 15.8mm, so it’s very easy to fold down and tuck into your pocket.

It was designed to be portable, so you can use it when out and about in a range of different situations, and weighing just 117g it won’t burden you.

Taken together, these features result in a thinner, faster, and cooler 3-in-1 charging station compared with standard options on the market.

The fan is designed to be incredibly quiet too, at 25 dB or below all the time, so it won’t release the distracting sound that fans often can. You can turn the fan off completely too if you need utter silence.

The ESR charging station is available to buy now; it costs $110.99 and you can pick it up from Amazon or from the ESR website.

The 3-in-1 charging dock is part of ESR’s CryoBoost series, alongside the OmniLock Magnetic Car Charger with CryoBoost for driving, and the CryoBoost 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station for home and office.

The tech has already won several design awards since its release in mid-2025, making the series a must-buy for people in the Apple product ecosystem.
