Hermès is taking its long-running partnership with Apple to the next level, and it is just as extravagant as one would expect. The luxury brand has introduced a new lineup of leather-clad wireless chargers for Apple devices, including compatible models for the Apple Watch.

While the premium design is the highlight here, what’s really turning heads is the jaw-dropping price tags.

How much do they cost?

Hermès’ new collection goes all the way up to $5,150, which is even more expensive than the top-tier configuration of Apple’s latest MacBook Pro. There are multiple products on offering under the “Paddock” charger lineup, which are all wrapped in its signature calfskin leather.

So here’s how the pricing stacks up:

  • Paddock Solo charger – $1,250
  • Paddock Duo / Yoyo chargers – $1,750
  • Grand Paddock charging case – up to $5,150

The more expensive options from the collection aren’t just made to charge the devices; they double as leather storage cases, designed to carry your cables and accessories in the typical Hermès style.

What do you actually get?

Looking past their eye-watering prices, these are basically just wireless charging accessories. Since they charge Apple products like the iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch, the peripherals support the MagSafe standard. Some of the models also supports dual charging zones as well.

Accessories, Strap, Electronics, Hermes, Apple Watch

While the Hermès collection looks great and costs even greater, there’s a big catch. Despite buyers dropping thousands of dollars, the Paddock line doesn’t include a power adapter in the box. So you’ll need to bring your own, ideally a 20W adapter or higher.

More style than practicality

Hermès isn’t known for making tech peripherals. It is a luxury brand that sells premium handcrafted fashion accessories. So the Paddock collection isn’t meant to be practical. You’re just buying the logo that comes with it.
