These Bose Noise-Canceling Earbuds Are Off

Yesterday I wrote about a deal for $50 off the Apple AirPods Pro 3, but if you’re not an iPhone or MacOS user, they won’t do you much good. That’s why today I’ve got a deal for you on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2 Earbuds, an excellent pair of earbuds that are direct competition to the AirPods Pro 3. They’re also marked down by $50 to just $250 in the Desert Gold color scheme, with lesser discounts for the Midnight Violet version.

Bose

QuietComfort Ultra 2 Earbuds

Bose has always been known for its active noise canceling, and these earbuds improve on that formula with better noise reduction and a wider sonic range. While they have the same drivers as their predecessor, Bose has made some improvements to the processing and tuning to make them sound better. If you want to tweak the experience further, there’s a full EQ in the app, as well as more customization settings for touch controls and immersive spatial audio. The buds actually use the welcome chirp from donning the earbuds to adjust the sound profile to the shape of your ears, which is truly advanced tech for the category.

They also got some feature improvements over the original QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, like proper wireless charging built into the case for easier top-ups. They’ll run for six hours on a single charge, with up to 24 total including the charging case. That’s with ANC on, which you’ll likely use often given how good both the sound isolating and pass-through modes aware. Our reviewer Parker Hall specifically called out the Aware mode, which is like pass-through but with some smoothing for the loudest real-world sounds.

While the QuietComfort Ultra 2 Earbuds come in a variety of colors, I only spotted the Desert Gold at the lowest $250 price point at both Amazon and Best Buy. The other discounted color, Midnight Violet, has a lesser discount that brings the price down to $269 at Amazon or $255 at Best Buy. If you’re looking for something a little less extravagant, make sure to swing by our full guide to the best wireless earbuds that we’ve spent time with for more options.
