The Last Of Us’ Joel And Ellie Get The Premium Treatment In New Dark Horse Statue

Game Informer can exclusively reveal Dark Horse Direct’s latest statue based on The Last of Us. It features Joel, Ellie, and “one of the silent heroes of The Last of Us,” Callus the horse, and it’s available to preorder right now. This statue is based on the scene from the game when the duo arrives at the University of Eastern Colorado, and has been brought to life by Substance Modelworks for Dark Horse (monkeys not included).

Naughty Dog’s 2013 post-apocalyptic action-adventure game, The Last of Us, remains a favorite among fans, even today, more than a decade later. Since its release, Naughty Dog has released a sequel in the form of The Last of Us Part II, a remake of the first game, and all of the first game and some of Part II have been adapted for television by HBO. Now, Dark Horse has given fans a new way to celebrate the game with this “The Last of Us: Joel and Ellie on Horseback” premium statue.

The statue can be preordered starting today for $349.99, and if you’re interested, you might want to act fast, as Dark Horse says it is limited to just 1000 units. You can check out the statue in the glamour shots below:

“Ellie rides atop Callus the horse, wearing her signature striped hoodie and backpack complete with her iconic pins,” Dark Horse says of the statue. “Callus is brought to life with stunning details from the worn saddles to the reins, to even the branded ‘J’ on their leg from Jackson County. Joel walks alongside them, grounded in his rugged gear, rifle gripped in hand and pistol secure in his holster.

“Together, they tread slowly across a weathered concrete base, including a spray-painted Fireflies symbol, fallen autumn leaves, moss, and the ever-encroaching presence of cordyceps emerging from below.”

The statue stands 13 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 12.75 inches deep.
