September must not be for lovers on Netflix because there are shockingly few new romance movies to choose from this month. A perennial favorite, Legends of the Fall, is back on Netflix. But in order to get even a second worthy film on the list this month, we had to go back to A Family Affair, a Netflix original rom-com that came out in June! For shame, Netflix. You can do a lot better than that.
It doesn’t help that Crazy Rich Asians, A Walk to Remember, and other romance movies are leaving Netflix at the end of September. We can only hope that October gives us better options. In the meantime, these are the best romance movies on Netflix right now.
