If I can offer one piece of unsolicited advice: Black Friday is a marathon, not a sprint. With the surplus of Black Friday beauty deals, it’s way too easy to spiral or blow your entire budget at Ulta the first day, but that’s exactly what we’re trying to avoid. We tested the bestsellers and cross-checked hundreds of markdowns across multiple retailers to find the best Black Friday beauty deals—just for you. From LED skincare devices and hair styling tools to snail mucin and acne stickers, we mention it all.

I’ll be refreshing this list with the latest deals, so check back often. For more intel on sales, check out our Best Black Friday Deals roundup or our Black Friday liveblog.

Updated November 28: We’ve added deals on a hair steamer, natural deodorant, a monthly beauty subscription box, and a hair dryer. We also checked for accuracy throughout.

The Best Red Light Therapy Mask

LED Series 2 Special Kit

While we haven’t tested the Green Tea Serum or Hydrogel Face Mask (both included in this bundle), this offer is too good to pass up. The standout here is the LED Series 2, which alone retails for $470 (and is not on sale), making this deal $48 less than the mask alone. In other words, it’s a steal even if you don’t plan to use the accompanying products. The LED Series 2 is the best red light therapy mask on the market. Crafted from medical-grade silicone, it hugs your face with 236 bulbs, ensuring direct contact. It delivers three wavelengths—red (633 nanometers), near-infrared (830 nanometers), and deep near-infrared (1072 nanometers)—to target skin rejuvenation at multiple depths. I’d recommend this splurge to people who’d like to target fine lines, wrinkles, or sun damage. Reviewer Nena Farrell also noted visible improvements in her acne scarring.

Dr. Dennis Gross

SpectraLite FaceWare Pro

Reviewer Kat Merck found this cordless, hard-shell LED mask from Dr. Dennis Gross to be super comfortable to use. After just two weeks of consistent use of the red-and-blue combination therapy setting, she noticed a reduction in facial blemishes. She likes that the lights aren’t too bright around the eyeholes, so she can still walk around and multitask. Plus, it’s a brief, three-minute session (with an auto-shut-off feature) that makes it a cinch to fit into the busiest of routines. That also means the battery lasts ages. Merck used it close to every day for six weeks and did not need to charge it once. A $91 off discount is not too shabby either. Bonus: For a limited time, purchases over $200 (aka this one) include a free gift if you purchase directly from the company’s website.

Glotech Mask Pro

This is one of the more affordable (and FDA-cleared) LED masks available, and with this Black Friday, it’s even more budget-friendly. The Glotech Mask Pro combines red and blue light therapy to help clear acne and manage oil production. Reviewer Nena Farrell noticed a healthier glow, with scabs and breakouts healing faster and without the usual scarring. After three months of consistent use, reviewer Kat Merck noticed a subtle softening of fine lines, though she notes it’s barely noticeable in certain lighting. This is an ideal starter mask for anyone wanting to try LED therapy, and the discount makes it an even better value.

The Best Wet-Dry Hair Straightener

  • Photograph: Kat Merck

  • Photograph: Brenda Stolyar

Reviewer Kat Merck tested the Airstrait on her 3a curly hair, and while she did have to go over it with a traditional flat iron afterward, she appreciated Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor and the glass bead thermistors that regulate temperature. It’s a wet-to-dry straightener that uses airflow to dry and straighten hair simultaneously. If you do have really thick, coarse, or coily hair, I’d maybe think twice about the Airstrait, but it’s a game-changer for those with fine or wavy hair. This is a luxe hair tool that doesn’t go on sale too often, so if there was a time to snag, it’s now.

You Need An Electric Toothbrush

Philips

Sonicare 4100 Electric Toothbrush

Whether you need an oscillating or a sonic electric toothbrush is really a matter of preference. Sonic toothbrushes tend to be gentler on both teeth and gums because of their mild vibrations, especially the Philips Sonicare 4100. I’d also recommend this toothbrush to people with smaller mouths or narrower jaws because of its slimmer brush head. For $30 on sale this Black Friday, you’ve got all the features you need: a pressure sensor to prevent excessive force, a two-minute timer with auto shut-off, and two intensity levels. The battery lasts for two weeks on a single charge, and a light and beep will remind you when it’s time to replace the brush head.

A New Travel Bestie for $140

Therabody

TheraFace Depuffing Wand

Therabody’s TheraFace Depuffing Wand is one of my favorite skincare tools to travel with. (Yes, it’s TSA-friendly.) It delivers both hot and cold therapy to help reduce under-eye puffiness, increase blood flow, and boost skincare product absorption. The cold setting is everything after long hauls, but really, it’s just a soothing little ritual, no matter where you are. The temperature stays consistent throughout the six-minute cycle, and a quick flash at the halfway point tells you when to switch sides. I especially love the contoured tip that allows me to get into the corners and crevices of my face. It comes in white and a lovely shade of indigo.

Stock Up on the Best Dry Shampoo for Lazy Days

Living Proof

Living Proof

Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

Reviewer Kat Merck has been using Living Proof’s dry shampoo for years, and she swears by it. Mainly comprised of starch and a “microporous mineral blend,” it cleans hair through a proprietary absorption and powder-removal process. Spray, wait 30 seconds, and massage in with your fingers. The white cast works in quickly, and the scent is not totally overwhelming. It’s also benzene-free, sulfate-free, and safe to use on color-treated hair.

Restock on Pimple Patches

Hero Cosmetics

Mighty Patch Original Patch

Just like toilet paper, you never want to run out of hydrocolloid patches, and Black Friday is the perfect time to restock. Hero Cosmetics’ Mighty Patch is the one I reach for most. It sits well under makeup, is effective at drawing out gunk, and acts as a protective barrier, so I’m not tempted to pick at my skin. At 25 percent off, I’m grabbing a couple of boxes.

This Beloved Curling Iron Is 30 Percent Off

Photograph: Alanna Kilkeary

A longtime favorite, this curling iron routinely earns a top spot in our hairstyling guides, and this 30 percent discount only sweetens the deal. It heats up in just 25 or so seconds, and the extended barrel and clamp design make it relatively easy to wrap and release. I’d recommend this one for beginners and people with long or thick hair. There’s no temperature dial, which feels somewhat limiting, but the color-coded heat indicators are simple enough. At $167, it’s a worthwhile upgrade that’s cheaper than a few salon visits.

Snail Mucin Serum on Sale

Cosrx

Advanced Snail Mucin 96 Percent Power Repairing Essence Serum

If you’ve been intrigued by snail mucin, this is the time to try it. COSRX’s Black Friday sale runs through December 1 at Amazon and Ulta, with discounts on most of the K-beauty brand’s bestsellers. The 96% Mucin Power Essence serum is my personal favorite; it’s lightweight, fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic. Packed with elastin, hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid, and a mix of vitamins and minerals that support skin repair and help calm irritation. It’s especially helpful if you deal with redness or breakouts, and it does a brilliant job of locking in moisture without feeling sticky.

A Hair Tool for Dry Winter Tresses

Photograph: Louryn Strampe

This steamer helps lock in moisture and enhances the effects of any treatments you may be using.

The Pattern Hair Steamer is featured in our diffusers buying guide, but it’s technically in a product category all on its own. It steams your hair, opening up the cuticle to allow deeper penetration of your treatments and products, and adding tons of moisture in the process. I immediately notice a difference when I use it in conjunction with a hair mask or deep conditioner, and I also like using it to refresh my curls when I go longer between washes (like I do all winter long). —Louryn Strampe

Refillable Natural Deodorant (Plus A Pretty Case)

Photograph: Louryn Strampe

Wild is the best metal refillable natural deodorant, but it’s also the most fun out of all the kinds I’ve tried. (And I’ve tried many!) The metal cases are eye-catching and unique, and there’s a dizzying array of scents to choose from, ranging from sophisticated and elegant to straight-up candylike. The formula applies smoothly, with few stains and even less noticeable sweating. My co-testers and fellow reviewers also really liked this brand. —Louryn Strampe

Monthly Trending Beauty Surprises

Photograph: Louryn Strampe

Our sister publication Allure makes a fantastic monthly beauty subscription box. It usually costs $30 per month, but you can enter code BEAUTY to get $10 off for Black Friday. Each box contains a mix of full-size and mini products, and there’ll always be at least one trendy brand or beauty item. Everything in the box is handpicked by Allure editors, which makes each month’s box feel more special and up-to-date than some of the other boxes I tried. There are deals on gift subscriptions, too. —Louryn Strampe

An Excellent, Affordable Hair Dryer

Courtesy of Amazon

Conair

InfinitiPRO by Conair SmoothWrap Hair Dryer

This is our favorite affordable hair dryer, and right now it’s even more accessibly priced. It’s lightweight and reliable, with three heat and two speed settings. It’s not supremely fancy; It doesn’t have every bell and whistle and perfectly nuanced airflow technology. But it’ll dry your hair, and it’ll do it well, without costing your entire budget. —Louryn Strampe
