Tecno recently introduced its Pova Curve 5G in India. The company is now expected to unveil its Pova 7 series next. A recent report claimed that the base and Ultra Pova 7 series smartphones were spotted on the Google Play Console database. Meanwhile, a new leak has suggested the launch timeline of the Ultra variant. It has also shared the design and key features of the purported handset. Notably, Tecno launched its Pova 6 Pro 5G and Pova 6 Neo 5G in India in March and September 2024, respectively.

Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G Launch: All We Know

According to an X post by tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G will likely launch in June. While the tipster did not specify an exact date, we can expect the handset to be unveiled by the end of the month.

The design render of the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G shared by the tipster shows the phone with a triangular rear camera module. The island appears to be lined with an LED light strip. This design aligns with an official teaser the company shared earlier this year. Notably, Tecno has yet to confirm the “Pova 7” moniker.

As per the tipster, the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset. The phone will likely be backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 70W wired fast charging. It may sport a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The rumoured handset is claimed to support 120fps PUBG gameplay.

Recently, the Tecno Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Ultra 5G with the model numbers LJ7 and LJ9, respectively, were reportedly listed on the Google Play Console. The phones are said to support 8GB of RAM and run on Android 15. The base variant could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 or a Dimensity 7300X chipset.
