Google just dropped a killer promo on annual Google One plans, slashing prices by 50% for new subscribers. If you’ve been on the fence about subscribing at full price, now might be a great time to seal the deal.

According to 9to5Google, the New Year’s deal drops the price of the basic 100GB plan from $19.99 per year to $9.99, giving you extra space for your emails, photos, and Drive files for about the price of a fast-food meal. Those who need more space, the premium 2TB plan is now $49.99 for 12 months, down from the usual $99.99.

In addition to plenty of storage, the 2TB plan includes premium Workspace features, unlimited Magic Editor saves in Google Photos, and 10% back on purchases from the Google Store. If you frequently use Google’s AI tools, the AI Pro plan is hard to miss at $99.99. It includes everything you get with the 2TB plan, along with Google Home Premium Standard, and an additional 14% discount on YouTube Premium.

Unlock higher AI usage limits with the AI Pro plan

The AI Pro plan also gets you higher usage limits for Gemini 3 Pro, expanded image generation and editing with Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro, video generation with Veo 3.1 Fast, and unlocks a 1 million token context window.

Furthermore, it offers expanded model access in Search’s AI Mode and the Gemini side panel in Google Workspace apps. AI features in other Google apps, like Google Photos, NotebookLM, Flow, and Whisk also get expanded limits, while developers get higher access in Google Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Gemini Code Assist, and Jules.

If this sounds like something you need, now’s probably the best time to grab a Google One plan. The promo will likely expire around New Year’s eve, so you should act fast. However, note that it’s available for new subscribers only, so you may have to create a fresh Google account to get the discounted price.
