Sad about Stranger Things coming to an end? Samsung’s new theme and wallpapers might turn your frown Upside Down

Samsung is celebrating the finale of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things with some cool new customization options for your Galaxy phone. Fans can now grab a free theme and wallpapers inspired by the show, bringing its iconic eerie vibe straight to their devices.

The new Stranger Things theme and wallpapers are available through the Galaxy Store in 186 countries, but users have to download or launch the Netflix app to claim them. The collection is based on the fifth and final season of the franchise, and includes five wallpapers featuring fan-favorite characters and memorable settings from the show.

Samsung says the theme and wallpapers reflect “the unique atmosphere of the show,” and the visuals “allow fans to bring elements of the series into their everyday life.” The content will be available on the Galaxy Store until February 22, so fans should grab it before it vanishes into the Upside Down.

The company notes that the new Stranger Things theme is available for all Galaxy devices running Android 15 or later, though it may not be supported on certain models. The wallpapers, meanwhile, are available for all Galaxy phones running Android 8 or later.

Samsung is no stranger to show-inspired things

This isn’t the first time Samsung has partnered with Netflix to offer exclusive content to Galaxy users. The company has previously released a Stranger Things-inspired short film to celebrate the premiere of the series’ fourth season and showcase the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Nightography features. Last year, it also released a set of special themes based on the animated film KPop Demon Hunters.

As Stranger Things wraps up its run on Netflix, it marks the end of a pop-culture phenomenon that defined an era of streaming. Fans looking to fill the void can check out our selection of similar shows that might scratch the same sci-fi and supernatural itch.
