Nintendo’s New ‘Store’ App Tracks Play Activity All The Way Back To 3DS

Nintendo has released another app for iOS and Android devices, and it’s called Nintendo Store. As the name implies, you can view and purchase games, add games to your wishlist, and subscribe to news and events for specific titles. But more exciting than all of that is the new play activity-tracking screen, viewable within the Nintendo Store app.

You can sign in with your Nintendo account and view your Switch 2 and Switch play activity, and you can even view your 3DS and Wii U game play time logged before February 2020. This means that, strangely, the Nintendo Store app is the best place to view your Nintendo game activity going back more than a decade to 2011, when the 3DS launched.

Rookie numbers, Nintendo

So, while having to download yet another Nintendo app on your phone might be annoying – Nintendo Store joins the Nintendo Switch App, Nintendo Music, Nintendo Today, and Nintendo Switch Parental Controls apps – at least it comes with one of the better features the company has implemented on the mobile side of things.

Let us know what game you’ve spent the most time in on a Nintendo device in the comments below!
