If you’ve been eyeing a pair of on-ear headphones that you can basically forget to charge, Best Buy just dropped the Marshall Major V to $89.99. That’s a $60 discount for a newer model that leans into Marshall’s classic, rugged styling and long-haul listening. The big hook here is simple: you’re getting a legit brand-name wireless set at a price that’s a lot easier to justify if you’ve been waiting for a real markdown.

What you’re getting

The Major V is built for everyday use: it’s foldable for tossing into a bag, and it supports wireless charging (or USB-C if you’d rather plug in). Battery life is the headline feature, with 100+ hours of wireless playtime, plus a battery preservation mode in the Marshall app to help keep the battery healthier long-term.

Feature-wise, you also get a customizable M-button that can default to Spotify Tap or be reassigned to EQ presets or your voice assistant. The built-in mic is designed to improve call clarity (including reducing wind noise), and you can go wired when you want since a 3.5mm removable audio cord is included. Connectivity is Bluetooth 5.3, and it’s positioned as Bluetooth LE Audio-ready for future compatibility improvements.

Why it’s worth it

At full price, the Major V is a style-and-battery splurge. At $89.99, it’s much easier to recommend if you care about two things: battery life and a simple, durable daily driver you can use for music, calls, and commuting without babying it. You’re also not paying extra for active noise cancelling here, so the value is strongest if you prefer the on-ear form factor and want long runtime over feature-stacking.

The bottom line

If you want on-ear headphones with massive battery life, wireless charging, and that Marshall look, this is a strong buy at $89.99. If you need active noise cancelling or you’re sensitive to on-ear pressure, you may be happier spending more on an over-ear ANC model instead.
