Leaked Galaxy S26 images give you an early look at the subtle design changes

Samsung is gearing up to unveil its next-gen flagship lineup later this month, and leaks are starting to paint a clearer picture of what changes we could expect to see on the Galaxy S26 lineup. We have already seen reports detailing several hardware and software upgrades set to arrive with the devices. Now, trusted leaker OnLeaks has shared images that offer a clearer look at the rumored design changes.

As seen in previous leaks, the images suggest that Samsung could switch to a new camera design for the upcoming devices, featuring a vertical, pill-shaped camera island housing three sensors. The top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to have two more sensors alongside an LED flash to the right of the camera island, while the regular Galaxy S26 seems to include only a flash module.

One of the images also offers a look at the bottom edge of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, showing a USB-C port sandwiched between the SIM slot and a single speaker grille. The S Pen slot appears to have been pushed closer to the corner, which is more rounded than before and could potentially offer a more comfortable in-hand feel than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The images don’t clearly show the remaining sides, but antenna bands can be seen along the top and left edges. Button placement is likely to be the same as last year’s models, with both the volume rocker and the power button positioned along the upper half of the right edge.

Expect more significant changes on the inside

Although the Galaxy S26 series doesn’t appear to be starkly different from last year’s lineup in terms of the design, the devices are expected to bring some notable upgrades on the inside. In addition to a new SoC, which could be either Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip or Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2600, the Galaxy S26 models are expected to offer improvements on the camera and software fronts.

Samsung has yet to officially announce its next Galaxy Unpacked event, but more leaks revealing additional details and the launch timeline are expected in the coming weeks.
