Leak suggests you might get fewer color choices for the Galaxy S26 Ultra

We recently got a peek at the potential color options Samsung may offer for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, that leak appears to have missed a couple of colorways. Now, a fresh leak has revealed the full lineup and their official names.

The earlier leak, which showcased the SIM trays for Samsung’s upcoming flagship, pointed to four options: black, white, blue, and purple. But trusted tipster Evan Blass now claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could launch in six finishes, officially named Black, White, Silver Shadow, Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, and Pink Gold.

Speaking of Samsung, the Galaxy S26 Ultra colors are:

* black
* white
* silver shadow
* sky blue
* cobalt violet
* pink gold

— Evan Blass (@evleaks) January 20, 2026

As indicated in the previous leak, the Cobalt Violet variant is likely to be the signature color and could feature prominently on Samsung’s marketing materials for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Interestingly, Blass makes no mention of the previously leaked orange option, suggesting that Samsung may have reconsidered and dropped the finish to avoid being labeled a copycat.

Fewer color options than last year’s flagship

The color options offered for last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra support this theory. Samsung offered the device in seven colorways, including four standard options and three Samsung.com exclusives. If the latest leak is accurate, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch with just six finishes, further suggesting that one previously planned color option may have been shelved.

Whether that turns out to be true remains to be seen. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place in late February. While the company has yet to officially announce the event, confirmation will likely come in the weeks leading up to it.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, the Galaxy S26 series is shaping up to be a relatively minor upgrade over last year’s models. Despite that, early reports suggest that the devices could cost more than their predecessors due to rising component costs, with fewer launch perks included at release.
