Invincible VS Is A 3v3 Fighting Game Based On The Popular Series

Skybound Entertainment has revealed a new fighting game set in the “Invincible” universe. Invincible VS looks just as brutal and bloody as its source material, with the trailer depicting a massive battle between Earthlings and the Viltrumites.

The trailer features a cutscene of Omni-Man and Invincible duking it out, but we don’t see gameplay of Omni-Man. Instead, we get 3v3 fighting action featuring the likes of Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, and Thula. However, it’s clear additional fighters will join the roster in the future, particularly considering how many characters Skybound can pull from in the “Invincible” universe.

For those who haven’t followed the popular comic or TV series, “Invincible” was a comic series from “The Walking Dead” co-creator and writer Robert Kirkman, published by Image Comics under the Skybound imprint. The comic series ran from 2003 to 2018, featuring 144 issues in 25 volumes. In 2021, an animated adaptation debuted on Amazon Prime Video, featuring the voice talent of Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh, Jason Mantzoukas, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, and many more. That series has run for three seasons so far, with each season earning favorable reception on the reviews aggregate site Metacritic. A fourth season is scheduled to arrive in 2026.

We had a chance to go hands-on with Invincible VS and will be able to share our hands-on impressions soon. Keep your eyes on the Game Informer homepage and social media feeds in the coming days for our thoughts and some insight from the development team.

Invincible VS arrives in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
