Hisense is continuing its push to bring next-gen TV tech to the mainstream without nuking the wallet, unveiling its 2026 ULED MiniLED lineup with the new U7 and U6 series. The company says the TVs are designed around how people actually watch today: from hosting friends for big sporting events to family movie nights, with larger screens, brighter MiniLED panels, and improved gaming performance.

The launch also arrives as anticipation builds for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the U.S., with Hisense positioning the lineup as a way to recreate stadium-level energy at home. In Hisense’s broader TV strategy, the ULED MiniLED series represents the brand’s performance-to-value sweet spot, sitting below the upcoming RGB MiniLED models that will serve as its ultra-premium display tier.

The U7 series leads the lineup with sports and gaming in mind

The U7 Series leads Hisense’s 2026 ULED MiniLED lineup, targeting sports fans, gamers, and large home theater setups. The TVs combine thousands of MiniLED backlights with the company’s Hi-QLED MiniLED Pro system and Hi-View AI Engine Pro to deliver brighter highlights, deeper blacks, and improved contrast. Motion performance is also a priority, with a native 165Hz refresh rate designed to keep fast-moving sports and gameplay smooth, while screen sizes scale up to a massive 116 inches. The TVs also feature a 50W 2.1.2-channel audio system with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, and will be available with either Google TV or Fire TV, depending on the model and retailer.

The U6 Series, meanwhile, targets buyers looking for a more affordable entry point into MiniLED technology. Built around the same core ideas of brighter displays and strong contrast, the U6 lineup features Hi-QLED MiniLED with Full Array Local Dimming and Quantum Dot color to deliver improved brightness and more vibrant visuals across everyday content. Hisense is also leaning on AI-driven image optimization for the U6 series, automatically adjusting picture settings based on what’s on screen. Audio performance gets a boost from an integrated subwoofer with Dolby Atmos support, while screen sizes range from 55 inches up to 100 inches, bringing MiniLED technology to a wider range of home setups.

In terms of availability, the U7 series is available now, starting at $1,299 MSRP via Best Buy, with additional versions expected to arrive on Amazon soon. The U6 series will begin rolling out in the coming weeks, with multiple configurations and screen sizes available across major retail partners.
