After debuting a nifty sticker-creating feature on iOS last year, Google Photos extended it to Android users this February. The feature lets you quickly create stickers with a simple long-press gesture, making it incredibly easy to share custom stickers with friends and family. Now, Google is adding one more layer of polish to the experience: a dedicated folder that automatically stores every sticker you’ve ever made.

Where to find the Stickers folder

According to 9to5Google, the new Stickers folder lives in the Collections tab in Google Photos, positioned just after the Places map. It arranges your sticker creations in a reverse-chronological grid, so your most recent stickers are always at the top.

Tapping any sticker opens a preview panel with buttons to copy the sticker to share it via the system share sheet or to delete it.

Catching up to iOS

Android users typically are first in line to get new Google Photos features, but sticker creation and the dedicated sticker folder are exceptions. The sticker creation feature first arrived on the iPhone back in August 2025, a full six months before landing on Android. Meanwhile, the sticker folder debuted on iOS back in January.

It’s reportedly live in Google Photos version 7.78, but if you don’t see it right away, make sure you’re on the latest version and watch for an in-app prompt that reads “Stickers you create are automatically saved inside Collections.”

Having all your stickers in one place removes a small but genuine friction point, and brings the Android experience fully in line with what iOS users have had for months.
