Today’s Xbox Games Showcase brought big news for anyone playing on Xbox platforms who hasn’t yet had a chance to try out the recent releases from the Final Fantasy franchise. Both Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy XVI are arriving on Xbox.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is targeting a launch this winter, but Final Fantasy XVI is actually out today!

While PlayStation players have been able to enjoy both titles for some time now, it’s nice to see that the continually expanding nature of cross-platform play means a new population of players will be able to discover the games. Final Fantasy XVI earned our praise for its action and bombastic setpiece moments. And Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a stunning reinvention of the series’ most popular and fondly remembered installment.
