Kyle Crane makes his big return in Dying Light: The Beast, a standalone adventure originally envisioned as an expansion to Dying Light 2. A new trailer that premiered during Summer Game Fest revealed the game is coming on August 22.

Original Dying Light protagonist Kyle Crane has been captured and experimented on by the Baron. He escapes, but has gained new powers from the zombie DNA now coursing his veins. Set in the new world of Castor Woods, players must utilize their new abilities and Kyle’s parkour prowess to take down the Baron, either alone or in four-player co-op.

Dying Light: The Beast will cost $39.99, though it will be free for owners of the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Look for the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
