Alienware has released four new gaming monitors at Computex. The highlight of the show is the world’s first 39-inch 5K OLED gaming monitor with RGB stripe technology, and if the specs are anything to go by, it might just be the most impressive display Alienware has ever made.

What’s special about the new 39-inch OLED monitor?

If you have ever used an OLED monitor, you know how good it looks. The problem is that OLED monitors’ lower peak brightness has always been their weak point in brighter environments. Alienware is fixing that with RGB stripe tandem OLED technology, which stacks independent layers of red, green, and blue elements to push peak brightness up to 1,300 nits without sacrificing the color accuracy and inky blacks that make OLED worth having.

The monitor also comes with a dual-mode design that lets you switch between 5K at 165Hz for open-world games and 1080p at 330Hz for competitive titles, without needing a restart. It features a 39-inch 1500R curved screen, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, Dolby Vision, and a built-in KVM switch for anyone juggling multiple devices at once.

Burn-in is always a concern with OLED, so it’s good to see Alienware include intelligent pixel management technology to keep degradation in check, along with a three-year burn-in warranty. Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the monitor arrives in select Asian markets in late June, with North America and Europe getting it this fall.

What about the rest of the lineup?

Alienware also refreshed its popular 34-inch QD-OLED ultrawide, bumping the refresh rate from 240Hz to 280Hz, raising peak brightness from 1,000 to 1,300 nits, and adding a new anti-reflective coating that cuts glare by 30%. It goes on sale globally in July.

For gamers who want a meaningful upgrade without spending flagship money, there are also two new 240Hz curved LCD monitors. The 34-inch model costs $399.99, and the 32-inch comes in at $299.99, with both available globally in July 2026.
