Critical Cloud has announced that it is the first organisation worldwide to attain the “Powered by Datadog” accreditation, recognising its managed services framework built around Datadog (NASDAQ: DDOG) as the operational core across Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure platforms.

The “Powered by Datadog” designation is awarded to partners that have fully integrated Datadog into their service delivery while demonstrating high standards in technical implementation and customer onboarding. Each partner is subject to a formal technical evaluation conducted by Datadog specialists, covering architecture design, onboarding processes, governance frameworks and live customer use cases.

To achieve this accreditation, partners must already hold Certified Datadog Advanced Partner status. The recognition highlights Critical Cloud’s ability to use Datadog as the backbone of its managed services, enabling customers to improve platform reliability, minimise downtime and accelerate issue resolution through a unified observability environment.

Critical Cloud provides monitoring, management and optimisation services across AWS and Azure, with Datadog acting as its central solution for observability, incident handling, security monitoring and cost optimisation. By standardising its approach around a single platform, the company delivers a consistent operational view, removing complexity and improving response times.

Datadog is embedded as a core component of every service engagement. Running the platform across multiple live environments allows Critical Cloud to build deep operational experience, which translates into enhanced outcomes for its customers.

“‘Powered by Datadog’ recognises that Datadog is not just a tool we deploy, but the foundation of how we run modern cloud operations. Being the world’s first partner to achieve this accreditation highlights our team’s deep expertise and focus on delivering reliable cloud platforms for our customers.”

– James Smith, CEO, Critical Cloud

“Critical Cloud has demonstrated strong technical capability and a consistent ability to deliver successful ‘Powered by Datadog’ managed services. Its experience operating Datadog across multiple customer environments positions it well to support organisations looking to standardise on Datadog.”

– Mark Fortune, Area Vice President, EMEA, Datadog

Through its “Powered by Datadog” managed service offering, Critical Cloud supports organisations from initial onboarding and architectural design through to day-to-day operations and ongoing optimisation, enabling faster diagnostics, improved reliability and comprehensive visibility across complex technology estates.
