Control Resonant is the latest in Remedy’s supernatural shared-universe, moving from a third-person shooter to more up-close-and-personal action combat. Today, we saw a little glimpse of what that looks like.

In the new gameplay we saw at today’s Sony State of Play, we get to see some of Dylan Faden in action. The new Control lead can use supernatural powers to blast enemies off the side of the warping, twisting level geometry.

Between a host of kinetic powers, an ever-changing weapon, and Gravity Rush-like powers that let Dylan shift his grounding, the action gets pretty hectic. Ultimately culminating in a boss fight, we can see Dylan leap and fly through the air trying to dodge the imposing foe before taking it out.

No release date was set today, but Remedy is still aiming for a 2026 launch.
