Preorders for Resident Evil Requiem are now live, and Capcom has released a bunch of information regarding the game’s Deluxe Edition, Switch 2 versions of the game and its recent predecessors, and more. The company also revealed it will release a Resident Evil Requiem-themed Switch 2 Pro controller and the first-ever Resident Evil Amiibo.

Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. All preorders of the game, regardless of platform or edition, will include an “Apocalypse” outfit for Grace Ashcroft. Before diving into the new announcements, catch up on the Resident Evil story so far with a new Road to Requiem trailer narrated by Lady Dimitrescu voice actress Maggie Robertson.

All The New Resident Evil Requiem Stuff Capcom Announced

Resident Evil Requiem will be available in two editions: Standard and Deluxe. The Deluxe Edition features the base game, plus an exclusive pack of five costumes, including a Lady Dimitrescu costume for Grace, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms, and more. You can see everything the Deluxe Edition features in the image below:

With Resident Evil Requiem launching day and date on Switch 2, Capcom is rolling out the Nintendo-Red carpet for the series with a special edition Resident Evil Requiem Switch 2 Pro controller and the Resident Evil Generation Pack for Switch 2, which includes Switch 2 editions of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem. This pack and the controller will be available on Resident Evil Requiem’s launch day, February 27.

Speaking of Nintendo, the first-ever Resident Evil Amiibo will arrive next summer, and it will be Grace Ashcroft, the protagonist of Resident Evil Requiem. Unfortunately, Capcom didn’t reveal what the Amiibo looks like.

If you purchase Resident Evil Requiem on the Epic Games store, you will receive “special Resident Evil-themed collaboration items in Fortnite,” like the Grace outfit. Other items will be distributed after the release of Resident Evil Requiem, and Capcom says it will share more details soon.

Alongside all of this, Capcom is also releasing a Premium Steelbook that features the full game, the Deluxe edition contents, and a limited-edition lenticular card exclusive to this release.

Finally, Capcom says it will hold a Resident Evil Showcase early next year, promising an even deeper look at Resident Evil Requiem before the game’s February launch.

Resident Evil Requiem hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on February 27, 2026.

While waiting for its launch, read Game Informer’s Resident Evil Requiem preview after going hands-on with the game, and then read Game Informer’s exclusive interview with the producer and director of the game. After that, read this upcoming horror games round-up.
