A good vacuum will seriously improve your life and home. So don’t skip past Amazon’s Prime Day vacuum deals; instead, let me show you the best ones.
As WIRED’s resident vacuum expert and tester, I’ve tried dozens of vacuums this year, from cordless sticks and Dysons to robot vacuums. (At one point this summer, there were at least 13 different vacuums in my home for testing!) I have persuaded everyone in my life to upgrade and can report no regrets from anyone who has followed my advice. One of my friends calls her robot vacuum her marriage-saver, while another friend loves hers so much she bought one for each floor of her home. Upgrading your stick vacuum can also make a huge difference—I had a friend test the new Dyson V8 Cyclone against her old V8, and she could immediately tell a difference.
This could be you! Especially if you choose from one of the vacuums I’ve personally vetted. Note that these deals for Prime Day—or, as Amazon’s fall event is now named, Prime Big Deal Days—only include vacuums we’ve tested and recommend even when they aren’t on sale.
