Kingsglory, a new publishing label within FunPlus, and developer Pawprint Studio have revealed Aniimo, a free-to-play action-RPG that’s also a creature-collector. It’s set to launch on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and mobile devices sometime in 2026.

The team revealed Aniimo during today’s Xbox Games Showcase with a new trailer and word that you can sign up for a closed beta test on PC later this summer. In Aniimo, players can collect and merge magical creatures called Aniimo through a mechanic called “Twining” while exploring fantasy landscapes, solving ancient mysteries, and battling other Aniimo.

Check it out in the Aniimo reveal trailer below:

Aniimo is set in the open world of Idyll, inhabited everywhere by Aniimo for players to seek out, capture, battle with, upgrade, develop, research, and ultimately evolve as they progress through the game. You can unlock more abilities and ways to play with Aniimo through the Twining mechanic.

Aniimo is set to hit Xbox Series X/S, PC, and iOS and Android mobile devices in 2026.

Here are some Aniimo screenshots to check out in the meantime:
