Amazfit Active 2 Square Debuts With 1.75-Inch AMOLED Display and Up to 10 Days Battery Life

Amazfit Active 2 Square smartwatch has been launched in global markets. The new wearable comes with a 1.75-inch AMOLED display, and it boasts a BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor to monitor heart rate, sleep and blood-oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels. The Amazfit Active 2 Square provides more than 160 sports modes. It has a 260mAh battery, and the smartwatch is advertised to deliver a maximum of ten days of battery life on a single charge.

Amazfit Active 2 Square Price

The price of Amazfit Active 2 Square is set at $149.9 (roughly Rs.12,000). The smartwatch is currently limited to the global market, like the US and Europe, and is available for purchase in a single Black colourway. Amazfit has not yet revealed details about the watch’s availability and pricing in the Indian market .

Amazfit Active 2 Square Specifications

As the name suggests, the Amazfit Active 2 Square arrives with a square-shaped touch display with Sapphire glass protection and a stainless steel frame. It has a 1.75-inch AMOLED panel with 390×450 resolution, 341ppi pixel density and up to 2,000 nits brightness. The smartwatch includes a BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor that enables 24-hour heart rate monitoring, sleep quality monitoring and more, Amazfit says. The wearable tracks SpO2 levels, breathing rate and provides alerts for abnormal readings.

For fitness and sports enthusiasts, the Amazfit Active 2 Square provides over 160 sports modes, including running, cycling, yoga, padel, pickleball, hyrox race and swimming, among others. The wearable has Zepp Flow voice assistant that lets users control their watch settings, adjust their calendar, and execute other operations with just their voice. This feature even lets Android users reply to instant messages with either keyboard or speech-to-text input. The watch has sensors to monitor menstrual cycles, steps, calories burned, distance, pace and more. 

The Amazfit Active 2 Square has Bluetooth 5.2 and BLE connectivity that allows wearers to answer incoming calls or dial outgoing calls, and control music right from the wrist. iOS users can operate their phone’s camera with the wearable. It is compatible with devices running on Android 7.0 and above and iOS 15.0 and above. The Active 2 Square comes with over 400 watch faces and is water resistant up to 50 meters (5ATM).

Amazfit has packed a 260mAh battery on the Active 2 Square that is claimed to last up to 10 days with typical usage. The wearable requires about two hours to fully charge from empty. The smartwatch is claimed to offer up to 19 days of battery life in Battery Saver Mode. It supports integration through the Zepp mobile app.
