Adobe Premiere on iOS now gives you a dedicated space to create eye-catching Shorts

Adobe announced a partnership with YouTube in October to bring a new feature to its Premiere mobile app that would give creators a dedicated space to make and publish Shorts. At the time, the company didn’t share a release timeline for this “Create for YouTube Shorts” space, only saying it would arrive on the Premiere app for iOS soon. The feature is now finally rolling out.

In a recent blog post, Adobe said that the new content creation space for YouTube Shorts is now live in the Premiere mobile app for iOS. It gives users access to a host of useful tools to create polished YouTube Shorts, including exclusive templates, transitions, presets, effects, and much more.

Adobe notes that the creation space is designed to help users easily produce engaging videos, even if they have no prior video editing experience. It includes a large selection of exclusive effects, transitions, and title presets, along with a host of ready-to-use templates that creators can use to make eye-catching Shorts.

Starting today, the new create for YouTube Shorts space in #Premiere on iPhone is available and is packed with exclusive templates, transitions, and effects. Edit and instantly export your content to YouTube Shorts today. https://t.co/w15vzg6lFx

The Shorts space also lets users create and share original templates “to help inspire others and spark new YouTube trends,” and publish finished videos directly to YouTube Shorts with just a few taps. This new space is great for both experienced creators and those looking to start their YouTube Shorts journey, as it not only simplifies the creation process but also offers access to advanced video editing tools, like an unlimited, multi-track timeline, studio-quality voiceover features, and Firefly-powered AI features for generating unique assets.

The Create for YouTube Shorts space is now live in the Premiere app for iOS. You can download it for free from the App Store and tap the new “Create for YouTube” option to try Adobe’s templates, effects, and transitions to level up your Shorts. The app is not available on Android at the moment, but Adobe has previously confirmed that it’s already in the works and could arrive soon.
