OnePlus 13s is the latest smartphone from the Chinese company to debut in India, and it boasts high-end specifications housed in a compact chassis. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, the same chip that powers the flagship OnePlus 13. In terms of specifications and price, its biggest competitor in this price segment is the iQOO 13, which was launched in India in December 2024. Both these handsets have the same chipset, run on the same version of Android, and are available in 256GB and 512GB storage configurations.

OnePlus 13s vs iQOO 13: Price in India

OnePlus 13s price in India is set at Rs. 54,999 for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the handset is also available in a 512GB storage variant priced at Rs. 59,999. The phone is sold in Black Velvet, Green Silk (only in India), and Pink Satin colour options.

The iQOO 13 is currently listed on the company’s website at 54,999 for the standard 12GB+256GB model, while the 16GB+512GB variant is priced at Rs. 59,999. It is available in Legend and Nardo Grey colourways.

OnePlus 13s vs iQOO 13: Display

There’s a 6.32-inch (1,216×2,640 pixels) LTPO OLED screen on the OnePlus 13s, which has a dynamic refresh rate that ranges between 1-120Hz. It has a peak brightness of 1600 nits, and supports 100 percent coverage of the DCI:P3 colour gamut.

With a considerably larger 6.82-inch (1,440×3,168 pixels) AMOLED screen, the iQOO is larger than the compact OnePlus 13s. It has a higher peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and a higher 144Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus 13s vs iQOO 13: Performance and OS

Both the OnePlus 13s and iQOO 13 are equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip from Qualcomm, along with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The iQOO 13 is also available in a 16GB RAM variant. These handsets are equipped with up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

They run on Android 15, along with Oxygen OS 15 (OnePlus) and Funtouch OS 15 (iQOO 13). Both phones are slated to receive four Android OS updates. The OnePlus 13s will get six years of security updates, while the iQOO 13 will get five years of updates.

OnePlus 13s vs iQOO 13: Camera

OnePlus has equipped its compact smartphone with a dual camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-700 sensor with OIS and EIS, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a Samsung JN5 sensor EIS, and up to 2x optical zoom. The handset doesn’t have an ultrawide camera.

On the other hand, the iQOO 13 has three 50-megapixel rear cameras. The primary camera has a Sony IMX921 sensor, while the telephoto camera has a Sony IMX816 sensor. Both the OnePlus 13s and the iQOO 13 are equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

OnePlus 13s vs iQOO 13: Battery

Despite its compact form factor, the OnePlus 13s packs a 5,850mAh battery. The phone ships with an 80W charger in the box, along with a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable. On the other hand, the iQOO 13 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery that can be charged using a 120W charger that ships with the handset.

OnePlus 13s vs iQOO 13: Conclusion

Both the OnePlus 13s and the iQOO 13 offer high-end specifications, run on the same version of Android, and are geared at different users. If you want a compact smartphone, the OnePlus 13s might be a better pick, but if you need an ultrawide camera or a larger display, then the iQOO 13 is worth considering.
