S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is making the jump to PlayStation 5. Furthermore, the post-apocalyptic open-world survival shooter will feature enhancements on PS5 Pro.

The PS5 version will utilize the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. GSC Game World also promises technical improvements for the PS5 Pro, but does not specify what form these enhancements will take. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is slated to launch on PS5 in late 2025. Check out the announcement trailer below.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl sees players fighting to survive the irradiated Chornobyl Exclusion Zone as a lone survivor, battling mutated creatures and hostile human factions – and joining others – in a choice-driven narrative. After enduring a long and tumultuous development cycle, suffering numerous delays and being heavily disrupted by the Russia/Ukraine war (developer GSC Game World is based in Ukraine), the long-awaited sequel launched on November 20 last year on Xbox Series X/S and PC to generally positive reviews.
