Ninja Cheerleader Brawler Ra Ra Boom Gets August Launch Date

If you’ve ever wanted to save the world as a squad of ninja cheerleaders, Ra Ra Boom is the game for you. The upcoming four-player beat ‘em up is coming on August 12, and you can get into the school spirit with a new trailer.

Ra Ra Boom stars Aris, Saida, Ren, and Vee, ninja cheerleaders from space who must rescue the world from a rogue AI. Up to four players work together to battle using the game’s unique lane-based combat design, and combat features melee and ranged offense based on the character’s distinct playstyles that can be chained to create combos. Ra Ra Boom features nine levels with full voice acting and a hand-drawn comic-inspired art direction.

You can try Ra Ra Boom now via a free Steam demo, or wait for it to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. We played the game ourselves back in 2023, and you can watch our impressions in this episode of New Gameplay Today.
